Radiance: A Virelai (Second Sunday After Epiphany)

For with you is the fountain of life;
in your light we see light.

(Psalm 36:9)

His shining face
Bright with redeeming grace
And love radiates
Into our darkest wastelands.

You will not see a trace
Or space
Of what our dirtied hands
Destroyed. He has replaced
With grace
All our dreams and hopes. He stands
And shines His face
His bright-as-new-dawn face
And day springs at His commands…

His shining face
Bright with redeeming grace
And love radiates
Into our darkest wastelands.
