Australian Christian Literature Awards

Last night SPCKA (Society for Promoting Christian Knowledge Australia) hosted the annual Australian Christian Literature Awards, which I had entered this year, submitting a collection of my poems for the Young Australian Christian Writer Award. Amazingly, I won! It was a truly humbling experience to receive the award, and I’d just like to publicly thank all of you for reading and supporting my work. Most of the poems that I submitted were first shared here, and if it hadn’t been for everyone’s wonderful encouragement of what I write, I doubt I would have had the confidence to submit them for the competition. So thanks for your support and for being wonderful readers! I can’t wait to see what God has in store for the future.

  1. What a blessing! Personally, I’m not amazed you won, but I am grateful the judges had the good sense to recognize the quality of your work. I pray God’s blessing on your writing ministry.
