So the kingdom comes in mustard-seed smallness




microscopic yeast invading our flatness

prehistoric treasure hid in fallow ground
       trees unfolding out from roots too deep to see
imperceptible life defying noisy death
       the now-and-not-yetness of ever-active grace.
